None of the numbers indicate an OEM modified driver. But I cannot access the IDE/ATA controller to turn it back on.īy the way HP has no driver updates available for this issue. When I ran MS FixIt for Performance issues it stated DMA was turned off.
I did not try to let it install anything as it seems like a scam to me. However none of the drivers it indicates are available. Ran a program "DriverUpdate" which comes back with 24 outdated drivers.
I have had numerous bsod, seems to be trying to write in protected memory and of course bsod. Intel refers to them as "Graphics Chip Driners" #15. I went to Intel and searched for "G33/G31 express chipsets" came back with 2 different driver #'s. My chipsets are Intel "G33/G31 express chipsets ".
PeteC suggested to update chipset drivers.įrom Device Mgr when I try to update the drivers they all come back "no update needed ". Vista 32 Home Prem, SP2 on HP d4996t 4gb mem.
